Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL) has released multiple vacancy circulars for the recruitment of Chief General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Joint General Manager, Senior Manager, Deputy Manager and Graduate/Diploma Apprentice Trainees. The recruitment will be done on absorption, deputation, and apprenticeship basis. Eligible candidates can apply offline before the closing date.
IPRCL is a Joint Venture Company between major ports under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited under the Ministry of Railways. The company is responsible for improving rail evacuation systems for major ports in India.

Notification No. 01/2026 – Graduate / Diploma Engineering Apprentice
IPRCL invites applications for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 for engineering graduates and diploma holders.

Stipend
- Graduate Apprentice – ₹12,300 per month

Age Limit
Maximum 23 years as on the last date of receiving applications.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC candidates.
- 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates.
Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates who passed degree/diploma on or after 01 January 2025 are eligible.
- Candidates must register on NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal.
- Candidates with more than one year of job experience are not eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training are not eligible.
Selection Process
Shortlisting will be done based on percentage of marks obtained in qualifying examination and a merit list will be prepared. No interview will be conducted.
