🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet any one of the following conditions:
- Diploma or equivalent certificate in Sports Coaching from SAI / NS-NIS Patiala or a recognized institution
- Participation in Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games or World Championships with a valid coaching certificate
- Dronacharya Award recipients in the relevant sport

🎂 Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories as per Government of India rules.
💰 Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-6 of the 7th Pay Commission.
- Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 per month
- Additional allowances as per central government norms
🧪 Selection Process
The selection process for SAI Assistant Coach Recruitment 2026 includes:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Coaching Ability Test (CAT)
Final selection will be based on combined performance in both stages.
