🎓 Educational Qualification

Post 1 – Sahayak Krishi Adhikari Varg-1:

• Mandatory: Post Graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Agriculture from any recognized University or Institution established by law in India.
• Desirable (Preference): Candidates who have served minimum 2 years in the Territorial Army, OR have obtained NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate will be given preference in case of equal merit.

Post 2 – Sahayak Krishi Adhikari Varg-3:

• Mandatory: Graduate degree (B.Sc.) in Agriculture from any recognized University or Institution established by law in India.
• Desirable: Same as Post 1 (NCC ‘B’/’C’ certificate or 2-year Territorial Army service).

Post 3 – Chara Sahayak Group-3:

• Mandatory: B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree.
• Desirable: Same as above. Additionally, every candidate must have good knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.

📉 Minimum Qualifying Marks

The written competitive exam will require:

Candidates who are unable to score the cutoff marks will automatically be disqualified from making it into the merit list. The importance of the cutoff marks in this selection process cannot be overstated because there are only 2-3 times as many vacancies. There is definitely an advantage for candidates belonging to reserved categories due to lower cutoff marks.

This means candidates must be born on or after 02 July 1984 and on or before 01 July 2005.

Age Relaxation:

Age relaxation will apply only for the domicile candidates of Uttarakhand coming from the reserved category. If you are applying for the reserved category, then it is important that you should have a valid certificate on the last date of application.

The selection will be based on:

Exam Mode: Offline (OMR-based) OR Online (CBT) — the Commission reserves the right to conduct the exam in either mode.

This examination would depend upon the educational qualification required for the respective post. The examination may be held either online or offline, according to the requirements of the Commission. This being a direct recruitment of Group ‘C’, hence the interviews are not conducted for the same.

• Questions will be directly related to the educational qualification of the post (Agriculture subjects for Agriculture posts, Animal Husbandry/Agriculture for Chara Sahayak)

• Submitting false documents or cheating during exam may lead to permanent debarment and criminal action.
• Answer key will be published after the exam; candidates can file objections (at ₹50/- per question, refundable if objection is upheld) within the stipulated period.
• Only one application per post is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to rejection of all applications for that post.
• EWS certificate must be issued between 01 April 2026 and 21 June 2026 (last application date), based on FY 2025–26 income, and valid for FY 2026–27.
