Tier-I: Tablet Based Test (TBT) – Online Examination

Quantitative Aptitude: Number systems, fractions and decimals, percentage, ratio & proportion, profit & loss, simple & compound interest, time & distance, time & work, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, and statistical charts (bar, pie, histogram).

General Awareness: Current affairs, everyday science, India and its neighboring countries — history, culture, geography, economy, general policy, and scientific developments.

This current syllabus of A&N HSL Exam 2026 includes all of those topics that are generally covered in competitive exams conducted by the Central Government. As the exam pattern is same as the SSC pattern, therefore the students who have prepared for the SSC CHSL exam or SSC GD will be able to easily handle this exam.
