Yantra India Limited (YIL) is a Government of India Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence.
It was established in 2021 after the corporatization of the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB).
YIL manufactures defence equipment, artillery components, small arms parts, and metal products.
It supplies critical defence materials to the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.
YIL plays an important role in supporting India’s “Make in India” and self-reliance initiatives in defence manufacturing.
