🎓 DISCIPLINE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Educational Qualification:

• Law Graduate (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
• Must be enrolled as an Advocate.
• Minimum 3 years practice as Advocate (as on advertisement date 23.02.2026).
• Experience certificate required from competent authority.

📊 MINIMUM QUALIFYING MARKS

Preliminary Exam:

• General Category – 45%
• Reserved Categories – 40%

Mains (Qualifying Papers):

• General Hindi – Minimum 30 marks required
• General English – Minimum 30 marks required

🎂 AGE LIMIT (As on 01.08.2025)

• Minimum Age: 22 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years (General Male)
• Maximum Age: 40 Years (Women & Reserved Categories)
• Judicial Officers: Up to 60 years (as per rule)

• 35% Horizontal Reservation for Women (Bihar Domicile)
• 4% Reservation for Divyang
• EWS Reservation applicable (Bihar domicile only)
• Reservation applicable only for Bihar residents

1️⃣ Preliminary Examination (Objective – OMR Based)

• Law of Transfer of Property
• Contracts & Torts
• Commercial Law

2️⃣ Main Examination (Written)

Compulsory Papers:

• General Hindi – 100 marks
• General English – 100 marks
• General Knowledge – 150 marks
• Elementary Science – 100 marks
• Law of Evidence & Procedure – 150 marks

Optional Subjects (Choose 3 out of 5):

• Constitutional Law
• Hindu & Muhammadan Law
• Transfer of Property
• Contracts & Torts
• Commercial Law

3️⃣ Interview (Viva-Voce)

• 100 Marks
• Minimum 35% required

Final merit based on:
Mains + Interview marks
