Discipline and Educational Qualification

1. Senior Personal Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • 3 years experience as Personal Assistant (Level 6) OR 5 years as Stenographer
  • Stenography speed: 120 WPM English / 100 WPM Hindi
  • Typing speed: 35 WPM English / 30 WPM Hindi
  • Knowledge of computer applications

2. Senior Technical Assistant (Computer)

  • Master’s degree in relevant subject with 2 years experience

OR

  • First class Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience in laboratory instruments

3. Senior Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Assistant (Level 4)
  • Computer knowledge, noting and drafting skills required

4. Cartographer Assistant (Geography Department)

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject
  • Minimum 3 years experience in operation and maintenance of scientific instruments in laboratory

5. Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years experience as Junior Assistant or equivalent
  • Typing speed 35 WPM English or 30 WPM Hindi

6. Junior Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Typing speed 35 WPM English or 30 WPM Hindi
  • Computer proficiency

7. Library Attendant

  • 10+2 pass from recognized board
  • Certificate course in Library Science

8. Laboratory Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in scientific laboratory instruments

9. Laboratory Attendant

  • 10+2 with Science stream

OR

  • 10th pass + ITI / skill certificate in Laboratory Technology

Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • Preliminary exam questions: 2 marks each
  • Negative marking: 0.5 mark per wrong answer
  • Qualifying cutoff: 50% of average score of top 5% candidates
  • Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5%
    • PwBD: 10%

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include the following stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Main Examination
  3. Skill Test (qualifying nature)

Final merit list will be prepared based on Main Examination and Skill Test performance.
