Candidates must have completed the qualification before 1 January 2026.


Mandatory Qualification

Candidates must have:

  • Passed Matriculation with Punjabi language as compulsory or elective subject.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of three stages:

Stage 1 – Computer Based Test (CBT)

Two papers will be conducted:

Paper 1 (Merit Based)

  • 100 questions
  • 100 marks
  • Duration: 2 hours

Subjects:

  • General Awareness
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Mental Ability & Logical Reasoning
  • English Language
  • Punjabi Language
  • Digital Literacy

Paper 2 (Qualifying)

  • Punjabi Language
  • 50 questions
  • 50 marks
  • 50% required to qualify

No negative marking.


Minimum Qualifying Marks

Stage-II: Physical Screening Test (PST)

Male Candidates

  • 1600 meter race: 6 minutes 30 seconds
  • Long jump: 3.80 meters
  • High jump: 1.10 meters

Female Candidates

  • 800 meter race: 4 minutes 30 seconds
  • Long jump: 3.00 meters
  • High jump: 0.95 meters

Ex-Servicemen (Male above 35)

  • 1400 meter walk/run in 12 minutes
  • 10 squats in 3 minutes.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Height measurement will be conducted to verify the minimum required height standards.


Stage-III: Document Verification

Candidates must present the following documents:

  • Matriculation certificate (age proof)
  • 10+2 certificate
  • Punjabi language proof
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)
  • Category certificate
  • NOC for government employees
  • Ex-servicemen certificate (if applicable).
