NHPC Trainee Engineer Recruitment 2026 – 72 Posts (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical)
NHPC Limited (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Trainee Engineer (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical) through GATE 2024 / GATE 2025 score. This special recruitment drive is conducted for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwBD candidates. A total of 81 vacancies are available in the E2 pay scale with an attractive salary package of around ₹15–16 LPA. Discipline & Educational Qualification
Trainee Engineer (Civil)
- Full-time B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engineering) in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Degree must be from AICTE approved university
- AMIE (enrolled before 31.05.2013) also eligible
Trainee Engineer (Electrical)
- B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 60% marks
- Accepted disciplines include:

Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)
- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
