National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited, India’s largest power conglomerate with an installed capacity of 86 GW, is expanding into Green Chemicals and invites experienced professionals for recruitment in Green Chemicals discipline.

1️⃣ Senior Manager (Green Chemicals)

Grade / Pay Scale

E6 IDA (Rs. 90,000 – 2,40,000)

Educational Qualification

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution

Experience Requirement

Minimum 15 years post-qualification executive experience including:

• Commissioning & Operation of Methanol/Urea/Ammonia/Ethanol/SAF/Refinery/Fertilizer/Petro-chemical industry
• Experience in 3 years as Shift Incharge Level
• Exposure to modern chemical plant operations
• Hands-on experience in medium-to-large size plants
• Experience in green chemicals preferred

Upper Age Limit

47 Years

2️⃣ Engineer (Green Chemicals)

Grade / Pay Scale

E2 IDA (Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000)

Educational Qualification

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 60% marks from recognized University/Institution

Experience Requirement

Minimum 4 years post-qualification executive experience in:

• Commissioning & Operation of Methanol/Urea/Ammonia/Ethanol/SAF/Refinery/Fertilizer/Petrochemical/Chemical Process Industry
• DCS/Control Desk/Unit Operations
• Green chemicals preferred

Upper Age Limit

32 Years

MINIMUM QUALIFYING MARKS

• 60% marks required in qualifying degree for both posts.

AGE LIMIT & RELAXATION

• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC (Non-creamy layer): 3 years relaxation
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation
• Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. rules

SELECTION PROCESS

Selection will be based on:

• Shortlisting based on qualification & experience
• Written/Computer Based Test (if required)
• Personal Interview

NTPC reserves the right to conduct screening, shortlisting, test, or interview as required.
