DISCIPLINE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Passed 10th Class (Matriculation) or equivalent under 10+2 system
- Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
- Must hold ITI Certificate in relevant trade
- ITI must be recognized by NCVT or SCVT

Note: Engineering graduates or diploma holders are not eligible for this apprenticeship scheme.
MINIMUM QUALIFYING MARKS
- Candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks in 10th class.
- ITI certificate in the relevant trade is mandatory.

SELECTION PROCESS
Selection will be done purely on merit basis.
Steps:
- Merit list prepared from average marks of 10th and ITI
- Equal weightage to both marks
- No written exam
- No interview
- Document verification
Tie-breaking rule:
- Older candidate will get preference.
TRAINING & STIPEND
Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Stipend will be paid as per government apprenticeship rules.
Note: Apprenticeship does not guarantee railway job after completion.
