Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), Bangalore has invited offline applications for 206 Act Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26. Candidates must have passed 10th with minimum 50% marks and possess an ITI (NCVT) certificate in the relevant trade. The age limit is 15 to 24 years (as on 01.03.2026) with relaxation as per rules. Selection will be based on merit of 10th marks, followed by document verification and medical fitness. The last date to submit the offline application is 01 April 2026 (5:00 PM).

🎓 DISCIPLINE & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
✅ Minimum Qualification:
- Must have passed 10th / Matriculation with minimum 50% marks (aggregate).
- Must possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT in relevant trade.
📌 Trade Training Duration:
- Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (MV), Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic → 1 Year
- CNC Programming cum Operator → 6 Months
❌ Not Eligible:
- Engineering Graduates and Diploma Holders.
📊 MINIMUM QUALIFYING MARKS
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in 10th
- Selection strictly based on percentage of marks in 10th

🏥 MEDICAL FITNESS (As per Annexure-E)
Candidate must be physically fit under Apprentices Act standards.
Key standards include:
- Good vision (6/6 or 6/9 as required)
- Normal hearing
- No chronic disease
- No deformity of limbs
- BP within normal limits
- No respiratory, cardiac or neurological disorder
Medical certificate must be signed by:
Government Doctor (Gazetted)
📌 GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Registration with Local Employment Exchange (Karnataka) mandatory.
- Only one application per candidate allowed.
- Incomplete/incorrect applications will be rejected.
- No correspondence regarding rejection.
- Apprenticeship does NOT guarantee railway job.
- Candidates must register in Apprenticeship India Portal after selection.
- Final decision rests with Rail Wheel Factory Administration.
